Enterprise Reporting Platform

Challenge:

Our client needed to build a high available, scalable, web enabled Enterprise Reporting platform for all real-time and analytical reporting requirements that complied with FERC regulations and could accommodate over 1000 internal and external users within the ISO Market.

Solution:

Bridge worked with the business sponsors and SMEs to define reporting requirements, while decommissioning existing reporting and analytical applications. Bridge designed, engineered and implement an Enterprise Reporting platform using a multi site Actuate Report Server Cluster, using both Active Portal and J2EE (SSO) based framework. The scope included:

  • Integrating Active Portal with Enterprise Portal, LDAP security and Report Server consolidation.
  • Implemented LDAP and Clear Trust Integrated, role based single Sign On between Corporate Security framework and Actuate application.
  • Lead and Mentor Actuate Administrators for different applications.
  • Networked and Server Consolidation including DR and Alternate site.
  • Built best practices and compliance framework.
  • Designed and implement Security matrix for all applications and implement Best Practices for Administration and New Application Security implementation.
